As the final month of the year, December often feels like a gentle pause—a time when the chaos of life slows just enough for us to look back and take stock of where we’ve been. For me, this year has been a journey filled with challenges, setbacks, and low moments that, at times, felt impossible to navigate. Yet, as I sit here in December, I find myself filled with gratitude—not despite those moments, but because of them.
Those low moments shaped me. They stripped away what no longer served me and forced me to find strength I didn’t know I had. They reminded me to lean on my faith, my loved ones, and, most importantly, myself. And now, here I am—still standing, still thriving, and ready to embrace all that the next year has in store.
December is the perfect time to reflect. Not just on the struggles but also on the wins, the lessons, and the growth. Even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found if we take a moment to search for it. It’s about giving yourself grace—acknowledging that you did your best, even when it felt like your best wasn’t enough. It’s about finding the good in the mess and trusting that every moment, even the hard ones, has a purpose.
As we close out this year, I encourage you to reflect on your own journey. Think about the moments that tested you and how you overcame them. Celebrate the small victories, the quiet progress, and the resilience you’ve shown. And most importantly, thank the Most High for guiding you through it all and for the blessings yet to come.
Next year is a blank canvas, filled with possibilities, and I can’t wait to see what it holds. But before we rush forward, let’s take a moment to honor how far we’ve come. December isn’t just the end of the year—it’s a reminder of the strength, growth, and faith that carried us through it.
Here’s to embracing reflection, giving ourselves grace, and looking forward with gratitude and hope.
This is exactly what I needed to read this morning. X
Thank you for the reminder, it’s the little things.🩷
